The Prophet ﷺ said, "While a man was dragging his garment out of arrogance, the earth swallowed him, and he will keep sinking into it until the Day of Resurrection."
أن النبي ﷺ قال: بينما رجل يجر إزاره من الخيلاء، خسف به، فهو يتجلجل في الأرض إلى يوم القيامة.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapters on virtues (3485), from Bishr bin Muhammad, who said, Abdullah informed us, Yunus informed us, from Zuhri, who said, Salim informed me, that Ibn Umar told him, and he mentioned it.
