The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The lower garment should reach the middle of the shin." When he saw how difficult this was for the Muslims, he said, "It may reach the ankles, but there is no good in anything below that."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: الإزار إلى نصف الساق، فلما رأى شدة ذلك على المسلمين قال: إلى الكعبين، لا خير فيما أسفل من ذلك.
