The Prophet ﷺ once prayed in a patterned cloak that had markings on it. He glanced at its markings, and when he finished the prayer he said, "Take this cloak of mine to Abu Jahm and bring me the plain cloak of Abu Jahm, for it just distracted me from my prayer."
Bukhari narrated it in "The Book of Prayer" (373), and Muslim in "The Book of Mosques" (556), both from the hadith of Zuhri, from Urwa, from Ayesha, who mentioned it.
