The Prophet ﷺ was of medium height, broad-shouldered, with hair reaching his earlobes. I once saw him wearing a red garment, and I have never seen anything more beautiful than him.
كان النبي ﷺ مربوعا، بعيد ما بين المنكبين، له شعر يبلغ شحمة أذنه، رأيته في حلة حمراء، لم أر شيئا قط أحسن منه.
Bukhari narrated it in the Chapters on Virtues (3551), and Muslim in the Chapters on Merits (91:2337), both through the route of Shubah, who said, I heard Abu Ishaq say, I heard Bara, and he related it. The wording given is Bukhari's, and Muslim added, "with abundant hair." The lima is hair reaching from the head to the shoulders, and when it grows longer than that it is called jumma.
