The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah loves to see the marks of His blessing upon His servant."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن الله يحب أن يرى أثر نعمته على عبده.
Tirmidhi (2819), Ahmad (6708), and Hakim (4/135) all narrated it from the hadith of Hammam, from Qatada, from Amr bin Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who related it. The wording given is that of Tirmidhi, and Ahmad and Hakim added, "Eat, drink, give charity, and wear clothing, without vanity or extravagance."Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Amr bin Shuayb and his father, for the two of them make the hadith hasan.
