The Prophet ﷺ said, "The religion is ease, and no one makes the religion overly rigorous except that it overcomes him. So aim for what is right, draw near to it, rejoice in good news, and seek help through the morning journey, the evening journey, and a portion of the night."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: إن الدين يسر، ولن يشاد الدين أحد إلا غلبه، فسددوا وقاربوا، وأبشروا، واستعينوا بالغدوة والروحة وشيء من الدلجة.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Faith (39), from Abdul-Salam bin Mutahhar, who said, Umar bin Ali narrated to us, from Maen bin Muhammad Ghifari, from Saeed bin Abu Saeed Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.His saying, "be steadfast," means adhere firmly to what is correct, which is soundness without excess or deficiency. And his saying, "come close," means do not go to excess, exhausting yourselves in worship, lest that lead to weariness and you abandon it.
