I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "The world is sweet and green. Whoever takes from it rightfully will be blessed in it, but many a one who indulges in what his soul desires will have nothing on the Day of Resurrection except the Fire."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ قال: الدنيا حلوة خضرة، فمن أخذها بحقه بورك له فيها، ورب متخوض فيما اشتهت نفسه ليس له يوم القيامة إلا النار.
Tabarani reported it in Al-Kabir (13/417) via Habib bin Abu Thabit, from Shuayb bin Abdullah bin Amr, from Abdullah bin Amr, who said, and then he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Shuayb, who is Shuayb bin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Amr bin As, for he is hasan al-hadith.Haythami said in Majma al-Zawaid (3/99 and 10/246), "Tabarani reported it in Al-Kabir, and its men are trustworthy."
