The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Four people will be brought out of the Fire and presented before Allah. One of them will turn and say, 'My Lord, since You have brought me out of it, do not return me to it.' So Allah will deliver him from it."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: يخرج من النار أربعة فيعرضون على الله، فيلتفت أحدهم فيقول: أي رب إذ أخرجتني منها لا تعدني فيها، فينجيه الله منها.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Faith (192) from Haddab bin Khalid Azdi, who said, Hammad bin Salama narrated to us, from Abu Imran and Thabit, from Anas, and he related it.This is how Muslim combined Abu Imran, who is Juni, with Thabit in the wording of this hadith. But the correct view is that this wording belongs to Abu Imran, as Ibn Manda stated explicitly in Tawhid (860). He narrated the hadith through several routes from Hammad bin Salama with his chain, and said, Abu Imran said, "four," while Thabit said, "two men," then he related the hadith.I say, the hadith of Thabit was narrated by Ibn Hibban, as will come later.
