The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, make the provision of the family of Muhammad just enough to sustain them."In another narration, "sufficient."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: اللهم اجعل رزق آل محمد قوتا. وفي رواية: كفافا.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Softening of Hearts (4836), and Muslim in the Book of Asceticism and Softening of Hearts (1055:18–20), both through routes from Umara bin Qaqa, from Abu Zura, from Abu Hurairah, who related it. The second version is Muslim's.
