The Prophet ﷺ passed by a group of the Ansar who were laughing and said, "Remember often the destroyer of pleasures."
مر النبي ﷺ بقوم من الأنصار يضحكون، فقال: أكثروا ذكر هاذم اللذات.
Bazzar narrated it in Kashf Astar (3623), and Tabarani in Al-Awsat (695), both through Muammal bin Ismail, who said, "Hammad bin Salama narrated to us, from Thabit Bunani, from Anas," and he related it.Muammal bin Ismail is daif, but he was corroborated, as was detailed previously in the Book of Funerals, in the chapter on frequently remembering death.
