Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever climbs this mountain pass, the pass of Murar, will have his sins removed just as the sins were removed from the Children of Israil."He said, the first to climb it were our horsemen, the horsemen of Banu Khazraj, then the rest of the people followed. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "All of you are forgiven, except the owner of the red camel."So we went to him and said, "Come, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ will seek forgiveness for you."He replied, "By Allah, finding my lost animal is dearer to me than your companion seeking forgiveness for me."He was a man searching for a stray animal of his.
