The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you fights his brother, let him avoid the face."In another wording, "When one of you fights his brother, let him avoid the face, for Allah created Adam in his image."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إذا قاتل أحدكم أخاه فليجتنب الوجه وفي لفظ: إذا قاتل أحدكم أخاه، فليجتنب الوجه، فإن الله خلق آدم على صورته.
Bukhari narrated it in the book of manumission (2559) through Abu Saeed Maqburi and Hammam, and Muslim narrated it in the book of righteousness and kinship ties (2612) through Aaraj, Abu Suhayl, and Abu Ayub, all of them from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.Muslim also narrated it (2612:115) from Muhammad bin Hatim, who said, Abdul-Rahman bin Mahdi narrated to us, from Muthanna bin Saeed, from Qatada, from Abu Ayub, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.
