The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The strong man is not the one who overcomes others in wrestling. The strong man is the one who controls himself when angry."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: ليس الشديد بالصرعة، إنما الشديد الذي يملك نفسه عند الغضب.
Malik narrated it in Husn Khuluq (12), from Ibn Shihab, from Saeed bin Musayab, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it. Bukhari also narrated it in Adab (6114), and Muslim in Birr wa Silah (2609:107), both of them by way of Malik.
