The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Whom do you consider to be the childless one among you?"We replied, "The one who has no children born to him."He said, "That is not the childless one. Rather, it is the man who has not sent ahead any of his children before him."He then asked, "Whom do you consider to be the strong wrestler among you?"We replied, "The one whom no man can throw down."He said, "That is not it. Rather, it is the one who controls himself when angry."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما تعدون الرقوب فيكم؟ قال قلنا: الذي لا يولد له، قال: ليس ذاك بالرقوب ولكنه الرجل الذي لم يقدم من ولده شيئا قال: فما تعدون الصرعة فيكم؟ قال قلنا: الذي لا يصرعه الرجال، قال: ليس بذلك، ولكنه الذي يملك نفسه عند الغضب.
Muslim narrated it in "The Book of Righteousness and Kinship Ties" (2608:106) through several routes from Amash, from Ibrahim Taymi, from Harith bin Suwayd, from Abdullah bin Masud, who said, and then he mentioned it.
