The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever does deeds to be heard of, Allah will expose him, and whoever shows off, Allah will expose his showing off."

Ahmad (20456) and Bazzar (3691) both narrated it through the route of Bakkar bin Abdul-Aziz, who said, my father told me (he is Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Bakra), from Abu Bakra, and he mentioned it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Bakkar bin Abdul-Aziz, for there is disagreement about him, but his hadith is hasan when he does not contradict others and does not bring anything that would be rejected of him, and his hadith has a firm basis. This is why Ibn Adi said, "I hope that there is no harm in him." Likewise his father, Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Bakra, his hadith is hasan.Haythami mentioned it in al-Majma (10/222) and said, "Ahmad, Bazzar, and Tabarani narrated it, and their chains of transmission are hasan."
