I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Those who frequently curse will not be intercessors or witnesses on the Day of Resurrection."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: لا يكون اللعانون شفعاء، ولا شهداء يوم القيامة.
This was narrated by Muslim in the book of Righteousness and Maintaining Ties of Kinship (2598:85), from Suwayd bin Saeed, who said, Hafs bin Maysara narrated to me, from Zayd bin Aslam, that Abdul-Malik bin Marwan sent Umm Darda some furnishings from his own household. One night, Abdul-Malik got up and called for his servant, and when the servant seemed slow to respond, he cursed him. In the morning, Umm Darda said to him, "I heard you last night cursing your servant when you called him." She said, "I heard Abu Darda say..." and she went on to relate it.His saying "anjad" is the plural of najd, which refers to household goods such as bedding, cushions, and the like.
