The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Seek help in fulfilling your needs by keeping them concealed, for every blessing has someone who envies it."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: استعينوا على الحوائج بكتمانها، فإن لكل نعمة حاسدا.

Ibn Hibban narrated it in Rawdat al-Uqala (p. 187), and Hamza bin Yusuf Sahmi in Tarikh Jurjan (p. 223), the wording being his, both of them through Haytham bin Ayub Talaqani, who said, Sahl bin Abdul-Rahman Jurjani narrated to us, from Muhammad bin Mutarrif Abu Ghassan, from Muhammad bin Munkadir, from Urwa, from Abu Hurairah, who said, and then he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Sahl bin Abdul-Rahman Jurjani, known as Sindi bin Abdawayh Abu Haytham Kalbi. Abu Hatim was asked about him and said, "A shaykh." Al-Jarh wal-Tadil (4/201).The hadith has also been narrated from other Companions, but all of these narrations are defective except the one I have mentioned.
