Abdullah bin Umar reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ climbed the pulpit and called out in a loud voice, saying, "You who have submitted with your tongues while faith has not yet reached your hearts, do not harm the Muslims, do not shame them, and do not search out their faults. For whoever pursues the faults of his Muslim brother, Allah will pursue his faults, and whoever has his faults pursued by Allah will be exposed by Him, even if he is hidden in the depths of his own dwelling."The narrator said, Ibn Umar looked one day at the House, or at the Kaabah, and said, "How great you are, and how great is your sanctity. Yet the believer is greater in sanctity before Allah than you."
