He said, We were sitting with the Prophet ﷺ when a man stood up and left. After he left, another man spoke ill of him.The Prophet ﷺ said, "Pick your teeth."The man asked, "Why should I pick my teeth, Messenger of Allah? Did I eat meat?"He replied, "You have eaten the flesh of your brother."
قال كنا جلوسا عند النبي ﷺ، فقام رجل، فوقع فيه رجل من بعده، فقال النبي ﷺ: تخلل قال: وما أتخلل يا رسول الله أكلت لحما؟ قال: إنك أكلت لحم أخيك.

Tabarani related it in Al-Kabir (10/126) from Muhammad bin Abdullah Hadrami, who said, Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba narrated to us, who said, Abu Khalid narrated to us, from Yunus bin Abu Ishaq, from Abu Ishaq, from Abu Ahwas, from Abdullah, who said... and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Abu Khalid Ahmar, who is Sulayman bin Hayan Azdi, one of the narrators found in all six collections, and whose hadith is hasan.Munziri mentioned it in Targhib wal-Tarhib (4296) and said, "A gharib hadith. Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba and Tabarani related it, and this is his wording, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih."Haythami said in Majma (8/94), "Its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih."
