A son of Abu Talha fell ill and died while Abu Talha was away. When his wife saw that the boy had died, she prepared the body and laid it aside in a corner of the house. When Abu Talha returned, he asked, "How is the boy?"She replied, "He has grown calm, and I hope he is now at rest."Abu Talha believed she was telling him the truth, so he spent the night with her. In the morning he bathed, and as he was about to leave, she told him that the boy had died. He went and prayed with the Prophet ﷺ, then informed the Prophet ﷺ of what had passed between them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "May Allah bless the two of you in your night together."
