Ibn Wahb reported it in his Jami (656) from Ibn Lahia, from Ayyash bin Abbas, from Abu Husayn, from Fadala bin Ubayd, and he related it as a stopped narration. He also reported it (657) from Layth bin Saad, from Ayyash bin Abbas, from Abu Abdul-Rahman Hubli, from Fadala bin Ubayd, in similar fashion. This stopped narration has a hasan chain of transmission, and its ruling is that of a raised narration, as has come in the hadith of Abdullah bin Amr.
