People mentioned ill omens in the presence of the Prophet ﷺ, so the Prophet ﷺ said, "If ill omen exists in anything, it is in the house, the woman, and the horse."
ذكروا الشؤم عند النبي ﷺ فقال النبي ﷺ: إن كان الشؤم في شيء ففي الدار، والمرأة، والفرس.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Marriage (5094), and Muslim in the Book of Greetings (117:2225), both through Umar bin Muhammad bin Zayd Asqalani, from his father, from Ibn Umar, and he mentioned it. It contains a denial of ill omens, and the meaning of the hadith is that there is no ill omen in anything, since it has been established, as stated previously, "There is no tiyara," meaning no ill omen.
