Malik, in the chapter on seeking permission (14), narrated it from Nafi, from Abdullah bin Umar, as mentioned. Bukhari also narrated it in the chapter on the beginning of creation (3323), and Muslim in the chapter on sharecropping (1570:43), both of them through Malik, with the same wording. In some of the hadiths, hunting dogs and livestock dogs are excepted, and this is covered in the book on hunting.
