The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a donkey that had been branded on its face and said, "May Allah curse the one who did this."
رأى رسول الله ﷺ حمارا موسوما في وجهه فقال: لعن الله من فعل هذا.
Bazzar (7342) and Tabarani in al-Awsat (4304) both narrated it through the route of Abdullah bin Muthanna, from Thumamah, from Anas, who related it. Tabarani said, "No one narrated from Thumamah except Abdullah bin Muthanna."Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Thumamah, who is the son of Abdullah bin Anas bin Malik, for he is truthful. Ibn Hajar graded it sahih in Mukhtasar Zawaid (1758).Haythami said in al-Majma (8/110), "Bazzar and Tabarani narrated it, and the men of Bazzar are trustworthy."I say, and likewise the men of al-Awsat.
