The Prophet ﷺ said, "The deeds of my nation were presented to me, both the good and the bad. Among the good deeds I found was the removal of harmful objects from the road, and among the bad deeds I found was phlegm left in the mosque without being buried."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: عرضت علي أعمال أمتي، حسنها وسيتها، فوجدت في محاسن أعمالها الأذى يماط عن الطريق. ووجدت في مساوئ أعمالها النخاعة تكون في المسجد لا تدفن.
Muslim reported it in "The Mosques" (553) via Mahdi bin Maymun, who said, Wasil, the freedman of Abu Uyayna, told us, from Yahya bin Aqeel, from Yahya bin Yamar, from Abu Aswad Deeli, from Abu Dharr, who mentioned it.
