The Abyssinians were dancing and leaping joyfully before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, chanting, "Muhammad is a righteous servant."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "What are they saying?"They replied, "They are saying, 'Muhammad is a righteous servant.'"
كانت الحبشة يزفنون بين يدي رسول الله ﷺ ويرقصون ويقولون: محمد عبد صالح، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: ما يقولون؟ قالوا: يقولون: محمد عبد صالح.
Ahmad (12540) and Ibn Hibban (5870) both narrated it through the route of Hammad bin Salama, from Thabit, from Anas, who mentioned it.
