The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us at al-Nabawah, or al-Nabawah. He said, "Al-Nabawah is in Taif." He said, "Soon you will be able to distinguish the people of Paradise from the people of the Fire."They asked, "By what means, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "By praise and by blame. You are the witnesses of Allah, one of you over another."
Ibn Majah (4221), Ahmad (15439), Ibn Hibban (7384), and Hakim (4/436) all narrated it through Nafi bin Umar Jumahi, from Umaya bin Safwan, from Abu Bakr bin Abu Zuhayr Thaqafi, from his father, who said, and then he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Abu Bakr bin Abu Zuhayr Thaqafi, for Ibn Hibban mentioned him among his trustworthy narrators, and his hadith is regarded as hasan when it has a sahih basis, and this is one of them.
