The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every servant has a reputation in the heavens. If his reputation in the heavens is good, it is placed for him as good on the earth, and if his reputation in the heavens is bad, it is placed for him as bad on the earth."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ما من عبد إلا له صيت في السماء، فإذا كان صيته في السماء حسنا وضع له في الأرض حسنا، وإذا كان صيته في السماء سيئا وضع له في الأرض سيئا.

Bazzar (9202) and Bayhaqi in Zuhd Kabir (820) both narrated it through the route of Abu Walid (Hisham bin Abdul-Malik Tayalisi), from Abu Waki, from Amash, from Abu Salih, from Abu Hurairah, who related it.Its chain is hasan because of Jarra bin Mulayh, who is Abu Waki, a narrator disputed among scholars, though his hadith is judged hasan when it has a basis and contains no irregularity or objectionable content.Bazzar said, "It has a counterpart in the Sahih, 'When Allah loves a servant, He calls out to Jibreel...'" and so on with the hadith.Haythami said in Majma (10/271), "Bazzar narrated it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih."
