The Prophet ﷺ saw a man driving a sacrificial camel and said, "Ride it."The man replied, "It is a sacrificial camel."The Prophet ﷺ said again, "Ride it."He repeated, "It is a sacrificial camel."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Ride it, woe to you."
أن النبي ﷺ رأى رجلا يسوق بدنة، فقال: اركبها قال: إنها بدنة، قال: اركبها قال: إنها بدنة، قال: اركبها ويلك.
Bukhari related it in Kitab al-Adab (6159), from Musa bin Ismail, who said, Hammam narrated to us, from Qatada, from Anas, and he related it as mentioned. Muslim related it in Kitab al-Hajj (1323) through Thabit Bunani and Bukayr bin Akhnas, from Anas, in a similar way. But his version does not contain "Woe to you."
