Muaz bin Jabal reported,

Muaz bin Jabal said, I was riding behind the Prophet ﷺ, with nothing between us but the back of the saddle. He said, "Muaz bin Jabal."I replied, "At your service, Messenger of Allah, and at your pleasure."He rode on for a while, then said, "Muaz bin Jabal."I replied, "At your service, Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and at your pleasure."He rode on for a while, then said, "Muaz bin Jabal."I replied, "At your service, Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and at your pleasure."He asked, "Do you know what Allah's right is upon His servants?"I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "Allah's right upon His servants is that they worship Him and associate nothing with Him."He rode on for a while, then said, "Muaz bin Jabal."I replied, "At your service, Messenger of Allah, and at your pleasure."He asked, "Do you know what the servants' right upon Allah is when they do that?"I replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "That He will not punish them."
