The Prophet ﷺ said, "It is better for one of you to have his belly filled with pus than to have it filled with poetry."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: لأن يمتلئ جوف أحدكم قيحا خير له من أن يمتلئ شعرا.
Bukhari narrated it in al-Adab (6154) from Ubaydullah bin Musa, who said, Hanzala informed us, from Salim, from Ibn Umar, and he mentioned it.
