Abu Dawud (4954) narrated it from Musaddad, who said, Bishr, meaning Ibn Mufaddal, narrated to us, he said, Bashir bin Maymun narrated to me, from his uncle Usama bin Akhdari, and he related it.Its chain of transmission is hasan, due to Bashir bin Maymun Shaqari, for he is hasan al-hadith. The addition was narrated by Hakim (4/276) via Musaddad through the same chain, and he said, "A hadith sahih in its chain of transmission."
