The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited a household from the Ansar and ate some food with them. When he intended to leave, he ordered that a spot in the house be sprinkled with water for him over a mat, then he prayed there and supplicated for them.
أن رسول الله ﷺ زار أهل بيت من الأنصار، فطعم عندهم طعاما، فلما أراد أن يخرج، أمر بمكان من البيت فنضح له على بساط، فصلى عليه ودعا لهم.
Bukhari narrated it in al-Adab (6080) from Muhammad bin Salam, who said, Abdul-Wahhab informed us, from Khalid Haddan, from Anas bin Sirin, from Anas bin Malik, and he mentioned it.
