The Prophet ﷺ forbade eating animals that have been tied up and shot at as targets, drinking the milk of animals that feed on filth, and drinking directly from the mouth of a waterskin.
أن النبي ﷺ نهي عن المجثمة، ولبن الجلالة، وعن الشرب من في السقاء.
Reported by Abu Dawud (3786), Tirmidhi (1827), Nasai (4448), Ahmad (1989, 2161, 2671), Ibn Hibban (5399), and Hakim (2/102), all of them through various routes from Qatada, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, who mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Dawud abridged it, restricting it to the prohibition against the milk of the jallala. In Hakim's version it says, "riding the jallala" instead of "the milk of the jallala." There is also the prohibition against riding the jallala. See, the collected material on proper conduct with animals.
