Husayn bin Ali was in the lap of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he urinated on him. I said, "Put on a garment and give me your wrap so I may wash it."He replied, "Only the urine of a female is washed, while the urine of a male infant is sprinkled with water."
كان الحسين بن علي في حجر رسول الله ﷺ فبال عليه، فقلت: البس ثوبا وأعطني إزارك حتى أغسله، فقال: إنما يغسل من بول الأنثى، وينضح من بول الصبي.
Abu Dawud (375, and this is his wording) and Ibn Majah (522) both narrated it through Abu Ahwas, from Simak bin Harb, from Qabus bin Abu Makharaq, from Lubaba bint Harith. Its chain is hasan, on account of Simak bin Harb, for he is truthful, and his teacher Qabus bin Makharaq the Shaybani, the Kufan, was described by Nasai as, "There is no harm in him." Ibn Hibban listed him among the trustworthy narrators. It has been established that he met Lubaba bint Harith, who is Umm Fadl, the wife of Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib, and the sister of Maymuna bint Harith, mother of the believers.Busiri faulted it for a break in the chain between Qabus and Umm Fadl, but the correct view is that it is connected, since their meeting has been established. Ibn Khuzayma (282) and Hakim (1/166) both graded it sahih.
