Sahl reported,

Sahl bin Saad said, "We used to rejoice on Fridays."I asked, "Why?"He replied, "We had an elderly woman who would send for some beets from Budaah." Ibn Muslim said, "Budaah is a palm grove in Medina." "She would take the roots of the beets and put them in a pot, then grind some barley grains and add them. When we had prayed the Friday prayer, we would leave and go greet her, and she would serve it to us. We rejoiced because of it. We did not take our midday nap or eat lunch until after the Friday prayer."

Sahih
