Abu Shurayh reported,

My ears heard and my eyes saw when the Prophet ﷺ spoke and said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his neighbor. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him honor his guest with his due."Someone asked, "What is his due, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "A day and a night. Hospitality extends for three days, and whatever is beyond that is charity given to him. Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent."

Sahih
