The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do not envy one another, do not inflate prices against each other, do not hate one another, do not turn your backs on one another, and do not undercut one another in business. Be servants of Allah as brothers. The Muslim is the brother of the Muslim. He does not wrong him, abandon him, or look down on him. Piety is here," and he pointed to his chest three times. "It is enough evil for a person to despise his Muslim brother. Every Muslim is sacred to another Muslim, his blood, his property, and his honor."Wazad added in another narration, "Indeed, Allah does not look at your bodies or your appearances, but He looks at your hearts," and he pointed with his fingers to his chest.
قال رسول الله ﷺ: لا تحاسدوا، ولا تناجشوا، ولا تباغضوا، ولا تدابروا، ولا يبع بعضكم على بيع بعض، وكونوا عباد الله إخوانا، المسلم أخو المسلم، لا يظلمه ولا يخذله، ولا يحقره، التقوى هاهنا ويشير إلى صدره ثلاث مرات بحسب امرئ من الشر أن يحقر أخاه المسلم، كل المسلم على المسلم حرام، دمه، وماله، وعرضه. وزاد في رواية: إن الله لا ينظر إلى أجسادكم، ولا إلى صوركم، ولكن ينظر إلى قلوبكم وأشار بأصابعه إلى صدره.
Muslim narrated it in "Righteousness and Kinship Ties" (2564:32) from Abdullah bin Maslama bin Qanab, (32:2564) "Dawud, that is Ibn Qays, told us, from Abu Saeed, the freedman of Amir bin Kurayz, from Abu Hurairah," who said, and then he mentioned it.He also narrated it (2564:33) from Abu Tahir Ahmad bin Amr bin Sarh, "Ibn Wahb told us, from Usama, that is Ibn Zayd, that he heard Abu Saeed, the freedman of Abdullah bin Amir bin Kurayz, say, I heard Abu Hurairah say, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said," and then he mentioned something similar to the hadith of Dawud, with some additions and omissions, and among what he added was the addition mentioned above.Bukhari narrated it in "Manners" (6066) through the report of Malik, from Abu Zinad, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah, similarly, and he added at the beginning of the hadith, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the most untruthful form of speech."
