The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah has forbidden you from disobedience to mothers, burying daughters alive, withholding what you owe while demanding what is not yours. And He dislikes for you three things, idle gossip, excessive questioning, and squandering wealth."
قال النبي ﷺ: إن الله حرم عليكم عقوق الأمهات، ووأد البنات، ومنعا وهات، وكره لكم ثلاثا: قيل وقال، وكثرة السؤال، وإضاعة المال.
Bukhari narrated it in "The Disputes" (2408), and Muslim narrated it in "Judgments" (593, following 1715), both through Jareer, from Mansur, from Shaybi, from Warrad, the freedman of Mughira bin Shuba, from Mughira bin Shuba, who related it.
