Jahimah came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I intend to go out on a military campaign, and I have come to seek your counsel."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you have a mother?"He replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Then stay close to her, for Paradise lies beneath her feet."
أن جاهمة جاء إلى النبي ﷺ، فقال: يا رسول الله أردت أن أغزو، وقد جئت أستشيرك فقال: هل لك من أم؟ قال: نعم قال: فالزمها؛ فإن الجنة تحت رجليها.
Nasai (3104), Ibn Majah (2781), Ahmad (15538), Hakim (2/104), and Bayhaqi (9/26) all narrated it through routes from Ibn Jurayj, who said, "Muhammad bin Talha bin Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman informed me, from his father Talha, from Muawiya bin Jahima," and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin Talha and his father, for both of them are truthful narrators.
