The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The one who visits the sick is in the orchard of Paradise until he returns." In another narration, "the harvest of Paradise."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: عائد المريض في مخرفة الجنة حتى يرجع وفي رواية: خرفة الجنة.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Righteousness and Kinship Ties (2568:39-41) through several chains from Abu Qilaba, from Abu Asma, from Thawban, and he related it.He also narrated it (2568:42) through Asim Ahwal, from Abdullah bin Zayd, who is Abu Qilaba, from Abu Ashath Sanani, from Abu Asma Rahbi, from Thawban, the freed servant of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, who said, "Whoever visits a sick person remains in the harvest of Paradise." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is the harvest of Paradise?" He said, "Its fruit."The Prophet ﷺ used to visit the sick to check on their condition and to comfort them, as in the hadith that follows.
