The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went to the tribe of Amr bin Awf to make peace between them, and the time for prayer arrived.
أن رسول الله ﷺ ذهب إلى بني عمرو بن عوف ليصلح بينهم، وحانت الصلاة.
Malik narrated it in the chapter on shortening the prayer while traveling (61), from Abu Hazim Salama bin Dinar, from Sahl bin Saad Saadi, and he related it. Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on the adhan (684), and Muslim in the chapter on prayer (421:102), both through the route of Malik, with the same wording.In a version narrated by Bukhari in the chapter on reconciliation (2690), through the route of Abu Ghassan, who said, Abu Hazim narrated to me, from Sahl bin Saad, that some people from Banu Amr bin Awf had a dispute among them, so the Prophet ﷺ went out to them along with a group of his companions to reconcile between them, the hadith continues.
