Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, reported that Umm Sulaym, the wife of Abu Talha al-Ansari, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, indeed Allah is not ashamed of the truth. Must a woman perform a ritual bath if she has a wet dream?"He replied, "Yes, if she sees the fluid."
Malik narrated it in Taharah (88), from Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Zaynab bint Abu Salama, from Umm Salama, and he related it. Bukhari narrated it in Adab (6121) through the route of Malik, with the same wording. Muslim narrated it in Hayd (313) through other routes from Hisham, with similar wording.
