The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah is gentle and loves gentleness. He grants for gentleness what He does not grant for harshness."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن الله رفيق، يحب الرفق، ويعطي عليه ما لا يعطي على العنف.
Ahmad (902) and Abu Yaala (490) both narrated it through Ibrahim bin Umar bin Kaysan, who said, Abdullah bin Wahb bin Munabbi told me, from his father, from Abu Khalifah, from Ali bin Abu Talib, who said, and then he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Abdullah bin Wahb bin Munabbi, of whom Abu Dawud said, "Known." Abu Khalifah is Tai of Basra, one of the successors and one of the companions of Ali bin Abu Talib among those who read under him, and no criticism of him is known. Ibrahim bin Umar bin Kaysan said, I asked my father, "Who is this Abu Khalifah?" He said, "He read under Ali bin Abu Talib."This hadith has sound foundations that make it hasan.
