Abdullah bin Masud climbed a tree to gather a tooth-stick from it, and when he placed his feet on the branch, the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ laughed at how slender his shins were. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "They are heavier in the scales than Mount Uhud."
أن عبد الله بن مسعود رقى في شجرة يجتني منها سواكا، فوضع رجليه عليها، فضحك أصحاب رسول الله ﷺ من دقة ساقيه، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: لهما أثقل في الميزان من أحد.
Bazzar narrated it in al-Kashf (2677), and Tabarani in al-Kabir (19/no. 59), both through the route of Sahl bin Hammad Abu Attab al-Dallal, who said, Shubah narrated to us, from Muawiya bin Qurra, and he mentioned it.Haythami said in al-Majmaa (289/9), "The men of both narrations are the men of the Sahih." Hakim graded it sahih (317/3). It is as they said, for the men of the chain are the men of the Sahih, except that Sahl bin Hammad, although he is among the men of Muslim, is disputed, though his hadith is hasan.
