Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

Jabir reported, "My father was killed on the day of Uhud, leaving behind two orchards. He owed dates to a Jewish creditor, and the debt of dates would consume everything the two orchards produced. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, 'Would you take part of it this year and defer the rest until next year?'But the creditor refused. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, 'When the time of harvest comes, let me know.'When the harvest came, I informed him, and the Prophet ﷺ came along with Abu Bakr and Umar. We began harvesting while the dates were measured out for the creditor at the foot of the palm trees, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was invoking blessings upon them. We paid him his full debt from the smaller of the two orchards, as Ammar reckons. Then we brought them fresh dates and water, and they ate and drank. Then he said, 'This is from the bounty about which you will be questioned.'"
