The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said to Ubayy bin Kaab, "Allah has commanded me to recite the Quran to you."Ubayy asked, "Did Allah mention me to you by name?"He replied, "Yes."Ubayy asked, "I have been mentioned before the Lord of the Worlds?"He replied, "Yes."At that, Ubayy's eyes overflowed with tears.
أن نبي الله ﷺ قال لأبي بن كعب: إن الله أمرني أن أقرئك القرآن قال: الله سماني لك؟ قال: نعم قال: وقد ذكرت عند رب العالمين؟ قال: نعم فذرفت عيناه.
