Abu Jahl said, "If I see Muhammad praying at the Kaabah, I will stomp on his neck."This reached the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Had he done so, the angels would have seized him."
قال أبو جهل: لئن رأيت محمدا يصلي عند الكعبة لأطأن على عنقه، فبلغ النبي ﷺ فقال: لو فعله لأخذته الملائكة.
Bukhari related it in the tafsir (4958), from Yahya, who said, Abdul-Razzaq narrated to us, from Maamar, from Abdul-Kareem Jazari, from Ikrima, who said, Ibn Abbas said, and he mentioned it.He said, Amr bin Khalid followed him in narrating it, from Ubaydullah, from Abdul-Kareem.
