The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will draw near to within a mile, and its heat will be intensified to such and such a degree. People's skulls will boil from it as pots boil. They will sweat according to their sins. Some will sweat up to their ankles, some up to their shins, some up to their waists, and some will be bridled by their sweat."
Ahmad (22186) and Tabarani in al-Kabir (8/222) both narrated it through Muawiya bin Salih, that Abu Abdul-Rahman told him, on the authority of Abu Umama Bahili, and he mentioned it. Its chain is hasan because of Muawiya bin Salih, who is Ibn Hudayr Hadrami, for he is hasan al-hadith, and likewise his teacher Abu Abdul-Rahman, who is Qasim bin Abdul-Rahman, for he too is hasan al-hadith.
