The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "From the moment the bearer of the Trumpet was assigned to it, his gaze has been fixed in readiness toward the Throne, fearing that he will be commanded to blow before his glance returns to him. His two eyes are like brilliant shining stars."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن طرف صاحب الصور مذ وكل به مستعد ينظر نحو العرش مخافة أن يؤمر قبل أن يرتد إليه طرفه، كأن عينيه كوكبان دريان.
Hakim narrated it (4/558–559) via Muhammad bin Hisham bin Mullas Numayri, from Marwan bin Muawiya Fazari, from Ubaydullah bin Abdullah bin Asam, who said, "Yazid bin Asam narrated to us," from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.Its isnad is hasan, for Muhammad bin Hisham bin Mullas Numari Dimashqi is trustworthy, and Hafiz also graded it hasan in Fath al-Bari (11/368). Hakim said, "The isnad is sahih." The discussion of this is set out in detail in the book on faith.
